These virtual and in-person consultations and trainings are designed for therapists, counselors, and mental health professionals who want to deepen their practice with experiential and adventure-based work. In person trainings are available in the state of California.

Introduction to Outdoor Therapy In-Person Workshop (California) - SOLD OUT
In-person Event! Saturday January 31, 2026
• 1 Hour • Saturday 10am PT • $15 for event.
Location: Descanso Gardens. 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, CA, 91011
We are meeting at the picnic bench area next to the parking lot, you pass it on you right when you drive in to get to the parking lot (hiding behind the trees). NOTE: Parking is free and you do NOT need a ticket to the gardens to this area.
This workshop will provide introductory information to participants on logistical and ethical considerations regarding conducting outdoor therapy sessions. The workshop will also cover the potential benefits and risks regarding outdoor therapy, as well as aligning outdoor therapy interventions with treatment goals.

CONSULTATIONS
​​​​​​1:1 Outdoor Therapy Consultation
By Appointment • 1 Hour per week • Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm PST • Pay as you can $120 per appointment.
Receive personalized support and intervention discussions for your clinical cases.
Great for therapists wanting tailored feedback, case review, or to refine their outdoor therapy integration with a Certified Adventure Therapist.

Group Outdoor Therapy Consultation
Twice per month • 1 Hour per week • Friday, 12pm–1pm PST • FREE
Attend a group consultation with other Outdoor Therapists interested in learning more or building upon their practice.
One topic per month plus one Consult & connect meeting.

All training hours fulfill credit toward CCAT or CTAS certification through the Association for Experiential Education (AEE).
